Because you matter

Sometimes life can feel like a treadmill, every day the same. On paper, things can look good – perhaps even perfect, but something is missing. You might feel stuck, isolated, trapped, dissatisfied.

Maybe it’s time to shake things up. Increase your satisfaction in your life and rediscover the joy of living. Get re-energised and start living the life you’ve always dreamed of.

Hi! I’m Lindsay and I work with clients to increase their satisfaction and happiness.

When things get tough, it often seems easier to just push on through; to believe things aren’t really that bad. But not dealing with things can frequently make them worse.

If you’d like to make a change, but aren’t sure how or where to start, counselling can help.

I’ve worked with many clients just like you. You don’t have to deal with this yourself. Give me a call or drop me a message to find out how I can support you.

Lindsay Roadnight

I decided to train as a counsellor after undertaking my own personal counselling and experiencing first hand the changes I could achieve with the support and encouragement of a counsellor.

As part of my private practice, I work with South East Coast Ambulance NHS Trust as a specialist provider of counselling services for their employees. I also volunteered as a counsellor for the in-house employee counselling service for the Royal Borough of Kingston and the Kingston Women’s Centre charity.

My clients have come from a range of different backgrounds and have sought counselling for a wide variety of reasons. Some clients have focused on past events, and others have been looking for support with more current issues.

Whatever you’re struggling with, get in touch with me. I’d love to work with you. Drop me a message through my contact page or call me on 07496 784532.

How Can Counselling Help Me?

Counselling can be used to support people in distress or to help deal with a traumatic event. Sometimes it can be hard to process difficult emotions. Counselling gives you the opportunity to explore your feelings and thoughts in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are struggling with a single issue or facing a more complex situation, I will work with you to help explore your situation and support you with identifying and achieving any goals you may have.

How does it work?

I work with individuals on a face to face basis. Your counselling session is all about you; you are the focus and we will work at your pace. I will not judge, lecture or advise you. My role is to listen and support you.

How long will it take?

The day and time, number and frequency of sessions are agreed between the client and counsellor. Each session will normally last 50 mins. Counselling can be time limited (for example 6-12 weeks) or it can be opened ended, where we review our progress at pre-agreed dates.

How do I get started?

Drop me a message through our contact form or call me on 07496 784 532.

I offer an initial, no obligation session. This will allow you the chance to experience therapy and discuss your needs and goals for therapy.

Willow Tree Counselling

Taking the first step and making contact with a counsellor can be daunting. You may have additional questions about counselling, which I would be happy to discuss with you.  Alternatively, or you might wish to arrange an initial session to speak to me face to face.

To make this as easy as possible for you, I can be contacted via phone, email or through the contact form. However you choose to contact me, you are assured of a warm, empathic response.
